They arrived in Fremantle on 24 January 1952 and had to live in a Government migrant reception centre at Point Walter. They then settled in East Belmont a suburb of Perth.¹

They had no children.¹ Her husband Duncan died on 6 June 2012.¹ Kathleen died on 6 June 2020 in Perth, Western Australia, Australia, aged 83.¹

She married Alan Millar Robinson, son of David Millar Robinson and Jane Elizabeth Edmondson, in June 1928 in Hammersmith, London, England.¹ On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Gladys was listed as living at 2 Northway, Honeycroft Hill, Uxbridge, Middlesex, England, with her husband Alan. Alan was No 346832 RAF Central Board.² Her husband Alan died on 4 December 1967 in 1 Highlands House Wharncliffe Road, Southampton, Hampshire, England, aged 65.^1,3

     Monica Jury was the daughter of Jack Jury and Mabel Monica Robinson.¹ She married Jack Huggins.¹ Monica died in New Zealand.¹

Kate signs her name as Kate Greathead Smith. Smith was the surname of James Fletcher's mother.^1,5,3 Joseph and Kate with their daughter Josephine sailed from London leaving on 12 April 1952 sailing to Freemantle in Australia onboard SS Otranto.^3,6 Joseph died on 29 September 1990 in Southlake, Western Australia, Australia, aged 78.³
