George Gilbert Pritchard married Mabel Florence Greaves, daughter of John William Greaves and Lilian Wooster, on 2 June 1928 in Methodist Church, Como, Western Australia, Australia, The church was decorated with white flowers, fern, and designs in white and silver. The Rev Joseph Green was the officiating clergyman and Mrs. Derrick presided at the organ. The bride entered the church on the arm of her brother Mr. A. W. Greaves. Herdress was of cream charmeline embroidered in silk and enriched with diamante. She wore the customary wreath and veil and carried a shower bouquet of white narcissi and asparagus fern. The bridesmaids were Misses Elsie and Rose Greaves, sisters of the bride. The bridegroom was supported by his brother, Mr. Ben Pritchard. The wedding breakfast was served in the home of Mrs. Greathead, sister of the bride. The wedding cake was a gift from Jardee. The Wedding ring was made by the bridegroom himself, as was also the engagement ring. The bride travelled in a henna coat with black and white fur and a white felt hat.1,2
