     Elizabeth Greathead was born about 1705.1,2 She was the daughter of John Greathead and Elizabeth ...1 She married Jerome Robinson on 28 January 1723 in Ripon, Yorkshire, England.1 John, Elizabeth and their daughter Elizabeth Robinson were witnessed in a dispute about a will.2,1

     John Pyper married Ann Davidson John Pyper was a whaler from Peterhead. When he married Ann he left the sea at her request and became Railway Agent No. 24 for the North British Railway Co. firstly at Queen St., then at 42 Kirkgate, Leith then at Johnson St, Leith and then in 1861 at 37 Scotland St. Edinburgh.1 John was listed as head of household in the census of 30 March 1851 at 24 Kirkgate Mertons, Leith, Midloathian, Scotland, John and Ann were living with their five children, Andrew age 7, James age 5, Eliza Alice age 3, John age 2 and Gordon age 3 months.2 John was listed as the head of the family on the census of 7 April 1861 in 37 Scotland Street, Edinburgh, Midloathian, Scotland, John and Ann were living with their children Andrew 17, James 15, Eliza 13, John 12, Gordon 10, Thomas 8 and Charles 6.3 John was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in 37 Scotland Street, Edinburgh, Midloathian, Scotland, John and Ann lived with their children Eliza 23, Gordon 20, Thomas 12 and Charles 16.4
