He married Minnie Rose Gilbert, daughter of Francis Henry Gilbert and Caroline Collingwood, in 1888 in Faversham, Kent, England.3 William was listed as the head of the family on the census of 5 April 1891 in 7 Vicarage Street, Faversham, Kent, England, William was a general labourer living with his wife and two childeren.4 William was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in The Street, Halstow, Kent, England, William was a brickfield foreman living with his wife and children.      Herbert Gilbert was born about 1861 in Preston, Kent, England.1 He was the son of Francis Henry Gilbert and Caroline Collingwood.1 In the census of 2 April 1871 in Brents, Preston, Kent, England, he was listed as the son of Francis Henry Gilbert Herbert was a scholar.2 The 1881 census has Herbert, aged 21, single, living with his parents at Lower Brents, Preston, Faversham, Kent. The 1891 census has Herbert, aged 32, living with his family at 30 Abbey St, Faversham, Kent. He is described as a "Labourer in Cement Mill". The1901 census has Herbert, aged 34, living with his family at Luddenham St, Luddenham, Faversham, Kent. He is described as a "??? acid maker in ??? Factory" The words ? are not readable. The enumerator has written "Powd" above the entry, so , possibly, this refers to the Faversham Gunpowder Factory.3 He married Emily Fryer.3

     Sidney Charles Rossiter was born in 1889 in Preston, Kent, England.1,2 He was the son of William James Ivory Rossiter and Minnie Rose Gilbert.1 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 7 Vicarage Street, Faversham, Kent, England, he was listed as the son of William James Ivory Rossiter.3 Sidney appears in different records with either the surname Ivory or Ivory Rossiter. In the census of 31 March 1901 in The Street, Halstow, Kent, England, he was listed as the son of William James Ivory Ivory.4 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 123 Felixstowe Road, Edmonton, London, England, he was listed as the boarder of Alfred and Louisa Cook. Sidney worked as a grocers assistant. Frederick Keeler another grocers assistant was also boarding in the five roomed home.5 He married Annie Bath in 1924 in Edmonton, London, England.6 Sidney died in 1967 in St Pancras, London, England.7

     Edward Raynard Cooper was born in July 1911 in Faversham, Kent, England.1,2,3 He was the son of Raynard John Cooper and Minnie Rose Gilbert.1 Raynard his wife Minnie and their children, Edward, Stanley and Constance left England on 30 April 1927 on board the Orvieto bound for Melbourne. Raynard, Minnie and Constance gave their address in UK as 11 Alderey Street, Pimlico and Raynard declared he was a farmer. While Edward and Stanley both farm labourers gave their UK address as New House Farm, Thanington, Kent.4 He married Jean Alice Chapple in Victoria, Australia.3 Edward died on 21 November 1997 in Traralgon, Victoria, Australia, aged 86.3 Edward was buried in Toongabbie Cemetery, Traralgon, Victoria, Australia.3

The 1901 census has Winifred, aged 14, living at Rose Mount, Loose, Maidstone, Kent. She is described as a "Mothers Help". The head of the household is Henry Gurney, aged 83, who is described as a "Paper Manufacturer". The 1911 census has Winifred, aged 24, living with her family at Parsonage Farm, Bobbing, Kent.1 She married John Thomas Cooper, son of Edward Cooper and Jane Lockyer, on 23 October 1909 in SS Peter & Paul, Tring, Hertfordshire, England.1 In the census of 2 April 1911 in Parsonage Farm, Parsonage Lane, Bobbing, Kent, England, she was listed as the wife of John Thomas Cooper.2 Her husband John died on 1971 in Bensted House, Geriatric Hospital, Ospringe, Sittingbourne, Kent, England.1,3 Winifred died on 22 January 1975 in Herne Hospital, Herne, Kent, England, aged 88.1
