Hide and Mary ...1 He married Mary Parkin, daughter of Thomas Parkin and Hannah ..., in 1854 in Rotherham, Yorkshire, England.1,2 In the census of 7 April 1861 in 35 Furminal Street, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the son of Mary Hide Edmund was an optician staying with his Mother. His wife and son were also in the household.3 His wife Mary died on 1870 in Ecclesall Bierlow, Yorkshire, England.1,4 Edmund was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in 9 Cemetery Road, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, Edmund was a photographer living with his two children.5 Edmund was listed as the head of the family on the census of 3 April 1881 in 23 Cemetery Road, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, he was a photographer.6 He died in 1918 in Doncaster, Yorkshire, England.7
