He fought on WW2 and gained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the service of the Royal Marines.1 He married Cynthhia Moya Darling on 15 February 1930.1 He died in 1963.1

     Sarah Elizabeth Storey married John Barker, son of Edward Barker and Elizabeth Ann Greathead, in 1920 in Sedgefield, Durham, England.1,2 John had a mining accident and could not work so the family moved from their house in Windsor Avenue, Ferryhill to a terraced house in Clive Street.1 When John died Gladys was sent into service and she moved to Manchester.1
