She bequeathed moneys to her nieces Margaret Ann Isaacs, Mary Agnes Fleming, Jill Mary Sullivan, Carolyn Joyce Cresswell, Christine Vera Cushing and Beryl June Isaacs. Some named items were given to Margaret Ann Isaacs and Mary Agnes Fleming with the remainder going to her sster Ida Mary Fleming.7,2 Phyllis died on 5 December 1983 in St Joseph's unit Mater Hospital, Avondale, New Zealand, aged 76 her death appeared in the New Zealand Herald and read: On Dec 5 1983 (peacefully) at St Joseph’s Unit Mater Hosp (late of 105 West End Road Westmere) loved sister of Ida (Mrs Fleming) Kathleen (Mrs Isaacs England) the late Mabel Bramley and Frank Greathead and aunt of Mary and Margaret (Ak) Jill, Carolyn, Brian and Colin (Eng) Christine & June (South Australia) and Roger (Canada) A service will be held at the chapel of Battersby Funeral services 1855 Gt Nth RD Avondale today (Wed) at 10.30am thereafter private cremation in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Soc Box 1724 Ak. All communications to 1 Saxon St Waterview.2,8
Her body was cremated she was a retired tailoress in Waikumete Cemetery, Waikumete, Auckland, New Zealand.2,9

     Paul Pollak was born on 12 March 1924.1 He was the son of Joseph Pollak. He married Roberta Greathead Montgomery Gibb, daughter of Robert Richard Greathead and Bethea Hill Gibb, on 9 February 1946 in All Saints, Maidstone, Kent, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Winifred Mabel Gibb and Otto Leslie Shaw. Roberta gave her address as 73 College Road, Maidstone, she was a nurse. Paul gave his address as Rick Hill School, East Sutton and was a Corporal in RASC.1,2 Paul died on 30 September 1971 in Maidstone, Kent, England, aged 47 sadly two days before the marriage of his daughter Elizabeth.1,3
