     William Tennant was born in 1903 in Aston, Warwickshire, England.1,2 He was the son of George Henry Tennant and Fanny Nutt.1 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 2 Back, 73 Alma Street, Aston Manor, Warwickshire, England, he was listed as the step son of Albert Greathead William was at school.3 In the census of 19 June 1921 in Bk9 2 H Alma Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, he was listed as the step son of Albert Greathead William was a turner and capstan hand working for Lawder and Poole Ltd in Theodore Street in Birmingham.4
