     Marion Maud Wingate was born on 13 February 1906 in Long Ashton, Bristol, Somerset, England.¹ She married Frederick Mornington Greathead, son of James William Greathead and Leah Gertrude Cantrill, in 1930 in St Marks, St Marks Road, Lyncombe, Bath, Somerset, England.^2,3 Her husband Frederick died on 22 December 1978 in 31 Bishop's Way, Andover, Hampshire, England, aged 86.^4,5 She died on 22 May 1985 in 7 Vyne Close, Alton, Hampshire, England, aged 79.^6,5 The will of Marion was proved on 18 July 1985 in Winchester. Her effects were valued at £82, 095.⁵

     John Greathed Harris was baptized on 11 August 1774 in Sturminster Marshall, Dorset, England.¹ He was the son of John Harris and Mary Greathed. John was a scholar at Eton and entered Kings College 29 June 1793. He obtained his BA in 1797, his MA in 1800 and was a Fellow at the Middle Temple from 1796-1804. He was called to the Bar on 27 June 1800.¹ John is mentioned in the will of his Uncle Edward Greathed.² He married Eliza-Maria Blunt on 17 November 1804 Eliza was the daughter of Walter Blunt of Wallop, Shropshire.^3,4 John was the Commissioner of the Insolvent Court from 1820-1850 and Steward of the Courts at Eton 1833-50.⁴ He died on 25 October 1850 in Chester Street, Belgrave Square, London, England, aged 76 His death notice appeared in the Morning Chronicle of 26 October 1850 and the Manchester Times of 2 November 1850.¹

     William John Greathead was born on 27 November 1911 in Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England.² He was the son of Samuel Henry Greathead and Agnes Lilian Gittings. He married Gladys M Arnold in 1938 in Stroud, Gloucestershire, England.³ He died in 1978 in Stroud, Gloucestershire, England.⁴
