William Stiles signed his will on June 1776 and described Philip as son of Philip, nephew of William Stiles and brother of Mary Jacobs.2 Philip signed his will on 28 November 1780 witnessed by Ann Reffelll, Peter Randal and Philip Bowbrick.3 He died in 1783 in Wonersh, Surrey, England. He was buried on 26 October 1783 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England.1

The ceremony was witnessed by Edward Foster and Catherine Foster. William was a labourer from Rushett Common. His father William Foster was also a labourer. Matilda's father Philip Street was also a labourer.2,3 She was the wife of William Foster in the 1851 census in Woodhill, Shamley Green, Surrey, England.
