     Edward Eager was born on 3 January 1806 in East Horsley, Surrey, England.1 He was the son of Richard Eager and Ann King. He was baptised on 26 January 1806 in St Martin, East Horsley, Surrey, England, his parents were Richard and Ann Eager.1 He was the son of Ann Eager in the 1841 census in Ripley Street, Send, Surrey, England. Edward was a Miller.2 He married Elizabeth Hoar on 21 September 1841 in St Mary ad All Saints, Dunsfold, Surrey, England, after a licence was issued. The ceremony was witnessed by William Chalcraft and William King. Edward was a Merchant like his father Richard Eager. Elizabeth's father Henry Hoar was a Gentleman.3,4 He was the nephew of William Eager in the 1851 census in Run Common, Shamley Green, Surrey, England.5 His wife Elizabeth died before 1861. He was baptised on 31 July 1811 his parents were Richard and Ann Eager.1 He was the son of Ann Eager in the 1841 census in Ripley Street, Send, Surrey, England. John was a Surgeon.2 He married Alicia Catherine Sydenham on 27 July 1843 in St Peter, Woking, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Thomas Guillams, Jane Eager, Catherine Elizabeth Godes, Elizabeth Sydenham, Sarah Eager, Jeffrey Eager, Stephenson Nodes, William King and ? Nodes. John was a surgeon and his father Richard was a Merchant. Alicia's father Humphrey Sydenham was a clerk.3 He died on 29 May 1873 in Ripley, Surrey, England, at age 61.4 He was buried on 5 June 1873 in St Mary, Ripley, Surrey, England.5
