     George Stovold was born circa 1885 in Claygate, Surrey, England. He was the son of William Stovold and Clementine Woods. He married Susan Ann Walters on 3 May 1911 in St Mary, Stoke D'Abernon, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Percy Stovold and Florence E Walters. George was a corn merchant's assistant. His father William was a labourer. Susan's father Cornelius Charles Walters was also a labourer.¹ George enlisted in Kingston as Lance Corporal P S 3444 into 1st Battalion Duke of Cambridge's Own (Middlesex) Regiment on 17 November 1915.^2,3 He died on 6 November 1918 in France.² He was buried in Berlaimont Communal Cemetery, France, in plot A14.⁴

He married Agnes Glenholmes in 1922 in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, England.¹ On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Harry was listed as living at Glenholme, Moor Lane, Surbiton, Surrey, England, with his wife Agnes. Harry was an insurance agent and an air raid warden.² He died in 1963 in Bridge, Kent, England.³

     Agnes Glenholmes was born on 29 July 1893. She married Harry Stovold, son of William Stovold and Clementine Woods, in 1922 in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, England.¹ On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Agnes was listed as living at Glenholme, Moor Lane, Surbiton, Surrey, England, with her husband Harry. Harry was an insurance agent and an air raid warden.² She died on 26 January 1984 in Hazelton Home, Quarry Hill Street, St Leonards on Sea, Sussex, England, at age 90.^3,4 Her estate was probated on 26 March 1984 in Brighton, her effects were valued at not exceeding £40,000.⁴

On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Evelyn Marie Stovold was listed as living at Glenholme, Moor Lane, Surbiton, Surrey, England, with her parents.² She married Gerald E Banfiield in 1952 in Surrey, England.³ She died on 9 June 1993 in 34a North Cray Road, Bexley, Kent, England, at age 63.^4,5 She was buried on 17 June 1993 in Greenwich, London, England.⁶ Her estate was probated on 8 July 1993 Administration papers were issued in Brighton, her effects were valued at £125,000.⁵

     Thomas Percy Walmsley witnessed the marriage of Michael Christopher Forbes and Valerie Anne Walmsley on 15 June 1974 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England.¹ He died before 1980.
