     William Frederick Toynbee was born on 24 December 1914 in West Ham, London, England, William was the twin of Reginald.1 He was the son of Frederick William Toynbee and Ella M Cassell. He married Heather I McLeod in 1957 in Surrey, England.2 He died on 28 May 1993 in Ha'penny Cottage, 6 Sturt Road, Frimley Green, Surrey, England, at age 78.3,4 His estate was probated on 29 July 1993 in Winchester. His effects were valued at not exceeding £125,000.3

     Frederick William Toynbee was born on 8 September 1890 in Brighton, Sussex, England.1,2 He married Mabel E Goddard in 1912 in Brighton, Sussex, England.3 Frederick arrived in Quebec in Canada on board Ascania from Southampton. He was listed as a baker.4 Frederick enlisted on 25 July 1917 into the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force. He was born in Brighton but gave his address as 5 Main Street, West Hill, St Catherines, Ontario in Canada he was a cook and carpenter and gave his next of kin as Mabel Edith Toynbee. he was five foot five inches tall, a chest of 35 inches, with a medium complexion, dark ble eyes, dark brown hair but with teeth requiring attention.2 Frederick arrived on 25 May 1956 from Montreal on board RMS Ivernia. He gave his address as 18 Hanover Street in Brighton he was listed as retired.5

     Frederick William Toynbee was born circa 1885 in London, England. He appeared in the 1901 census in 59 Ardwick Green, Manchester, Lancashire, England.      Hugh Stanley Toynbee was born in 1897 in Camberwell, London, England.1,2 He was the son of William Frederick Toynbee and Elizabeth Bell Dobson. Hugh enlisted on 5 July 1915 for the duration of the war into Army Service Corps his number was SS/2953. He was 5 foot 9 inches tall, with a chest measurement of 35 inches. His father William Frederick Toynbee lived at 45 Greenleaf Road, Walthamstow.1 Hugh joined in Aldershot and failed his medical so was discharged on 8 July 1915.1

     William George Frederick Cole was born on 12 July 1910 in Bramley, Surrey, England.1 He was the son of Robert Cole and Kate Eliza Burrows. He was baptised on 4 September 1910 in Holy Trinity, Bramley, Surrey, England, his father was a fishmonger.2 He was the son of Robert Cole and Kate Eliza Cole in the 1911 census in Eastwood Road, Bramley, Surrey, England.3 He witnessed the marriage of Kate Georgina Cole and Gerald Theodore Humphries on 9 April 1928 in St Mary, Holmwood, Surrey, England.4,5 He married Evelyn Alice Taylor on 3 September 1932 in Holy Trinity, Bramley, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. he ceremony was witnessed by Henry Arthur Taylor and Edward Palmer, William was a fishmonger like his father Robert Cole. Evelyn's father William Taylor was a carter.6,5 William and Evelyn were living in 1945 in 2 Barnett Cottage, Barnett Lane in Wonersh. Only Evelyn appears on the electoral roll as I suspect William was away serving with the RAF.7 He died in 1973 in Surrey, England.8 His body was cremated on 16 August 1973.9

Administration papers were issued to Marie Elzabeth Newington, wife of Edward John Newington and Edward John Newington of independent means. His effects were valued at £112 12s 3d.5 She died in April 1991 in Barnstaple, Devon, England, at age 94.6
