| The late August
bank holiday Saturday always brings the Great Vintage Flying weekend group
hosting the flyin at Henstridge. Always a good day. We were a
little concerned to hear the early birds arriving at the airfield were
reporting rather low clouds. Anyway we gave it a go. The
clouds were not too bad as we approached and landed safely using a
straight in approach for Runway 25 |

| Upon arrival we
took on fuel and parked and went over to sign in the BBQ was
getting up steam |

| The number of
classic cars were less than usual but never the less rather interesting |

| While walking
round we bumped into an old friend Keith Blake from our Redhill
days. Martin and Keith spent a while catching up. It was good
to see him again. |

| We watched the
jet model flying in between the full sized ones arriving and leaving |

| Everyone admires
our aircraft registration, but I spotted another one quite fun. G-IRAF |

| There were many
planes that arrived during the day, many regulars and a few new ones. |

| Once again the
day was a great one, meeting Keith and many other friendly people.
We look forward to the next flyin in at Henstridge. |
