Headcorn - Midweek
escape - 9 April 2008 |
After a two month layoff we
decided to take advantage of a decent day, where weather, wind and
availability all came together for once. |
The weather looked
consistently good to the East so decided on a trip to Headcorn having not
been there for some time. We routed past Popham, South of Alton,
South of the Hogsback to Shalford and along the railway line to East of
Dorking. Clearing North around the Redhill area before picking up
the railway line again just North of Edenbridge. Continued along the
railway line past Tonbridge, Paddock Wood and then calling a long final straight
into Headcorn. We took on fuel, had lunch watched some parachuting,
before returning |
