Miles Lawson Walker was born in 1867 in Coniscliffe, Durham, England.1 He was the son of Richard Walker and Eliza Lawson. In the census of 2 April 1871 in Coniscliffe, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of Richard Walker.2 In the census of 3 April 1881 in Cold Knuckles, Ormesby, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the nephew of Frank Greathead.3 In the census of 5 April 1891 in Cold Knuckles Farm, Ormesby, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the nephew of Francis Greathead Miles was a farm labourer.4,5 Miles's uncle John # 2174 died 4 June 1928. The Probate of his estate was received by Miles in London on 23 July 1928. Miles was listed as a farmer.6
