The ceremony was witnessed by Laura M Greathead of Southampton and Charma Roue from Park Head. They had two girls and a son.3 Howard and Pearl went on to have a family of two girls and a boy and lived in Hamilton, Ontario.4

James was of independant means.2 In the census of 30 March 1851 at 2 Rochester Terrace, St Pancras, London, England, she was listed as the servant of Elizabeth Brooks a widow and an annuitant.3 In the census of 7 April 1861 in High Street, Dartford, Kent, England, she was listed as the daughter of John Greathead.4 She married Richard Collins in 1865 in Dartford, Kent, England.5 Her husband Richard died on before 1871.1 Caroline was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in 25 Engineer Road, Woolwich, London, England, Caroline was a laundress. In the household were James aged 18, a labourer in the Arsenal, Elizabeth aged 15, a laundress, Ann aged 13, a nurserymaid and Thomas aged 13, a scholar.      Robert Featherstone Greathead was born about 1783 in London, England.1,2 He married Elizabeth Hoskins on 21 February 1807 in St Martin in the Fields, Westminster, London, England.1,3 John Hitchcock of the Guinea North Bruton Mews Berkeley Square victualler and Robert Featherstone Greathead took out an insurance policy with the Sun Fire Office on 12 July 1821. The policy was on the brick dwelling house of John Hitchcock for six hundred pounds. His household goods wearing apparel printed books and plate were also covered for a further three hundred pounds. China and glass a further twenty pounds and stock and utensils and goods eighty pounds. The premium was £1 1/6 and it was due for renewal midsummer 1822. The duty paid was £1 10/-. By 21 April 1923 the property was in the hands of Mr Maguire and no longer covered.4 On 27 February 1837 Robert was indicted for a misdemenor at the Old Bailey. It would appear that on 9 September 1836 Robert appeared at St Katherine's Dock and fraudulantly presented a sampling order. He was found guilty and of good charector and he was recommended for mercy receiving a sentence to be confined for six months.2 Robert was listed as the head of the family on the census of 7 June 1841 in Fullwood Road, St Andrew, Holborn, London, England, Robert was an attorney clerk.5 He died in 1845 in Marylebone, London, England.6

It read Birth, On the 8th inst.the Lady of E.Greathead, Esq. at Udden's-House, of a daughter.1,2 She was the daughter of Edward Harris and Mary Elizabeth Glyn.1 In the census of 7 June 1841 in Hampton Court Green, Hampton Court, Surrey, England, she was listed as the daughter of Mary Elizabeth Greathed.3 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Turnworth House, Turnworth, Dorset, England, she was listed as the sister in law of William Parry Okeden.4 Mary applied for a passport on 10 October 1855 The number when issued was 30837.5 In the census of 7 April 1861 in 20a Hill Street, Hanover Square, London, England, she was listed as the daughter of Mary Elizabeth Glyn.6 Mary was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in 10 Portugal Street, Hanover Square, London, England, Mary was a householder and had her cousin Mary F Goodlake staying with her.7 Mary was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 5 April 1891 in 5 Chester Street, Hanover Square, London, England, Mary was living on her own means and had her great nephew Derek Stephenson staying with her.8 She died on 9 March 1898 in 5 Chester Street, Grosvenor Place, London, England, aged 84 Mary died unmarried.9,10,11 The will of Mary was proved on 1 April 1898 in London to Hon Pascoe Charles Glyn a banker, her nephew in law Keppel Stephenson a retired Major of Royal Horse Artillery and Edmund Robert Perry Okenden.
