     Emma Louise Greathead was born on 11 January 1980 in Worcester, Worcestershire, England.³ She was the daughter of Timothy Paul Greathead and Sarah J Brookes. She died on 23 October 1998 in Malvern, Worcestershire, England, aged 18 in a car crash. An article appeared in Birmingham Evening Mail (England), on 25 November 1998 page 25. It stated:

An inquest into a Worcestershire road smash in which four people died has been adjourned pending the outcome of a prosecution. County Coroner Mr Victor Round revealed that three of the victims were travelling in one car.

They were the driver Sidney John Smith, a 19-year-old unemployed man of Roberts End, Hanley Swan, front seat passenger Emma Louise Greathead, aged 18 of Madresfield Road, Malvern, who was a trainee nurse, and trainee hairdresser Katie Louise Brown, also 18, of Meadow Road Malvern. The other person who died was the driver of another vehicle, Mrs Irene Ranford, a 64-year old chef of Park Close, Malvern Link. The crash happened on the A449 Worcester to Malvern Road at Bastonford shortly before midnight on 23 October. Dr Geoffrey Smith said that all four had died from multiple injuries. Adjourning the inquest, Mr Round said Martin James Bradshaw, aged 19, had appeared before Worcestershire magistrates on Friday charged with causing death by dangerous driving. He had been bailed to appear before the court again on 16 December.^1,4,2,5

She married Henry Greathead, son of William Abel Greathead and Helen Taylor, in 1909 in Aston, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.² In the census of 2 April 1911 in Aston, Warwickshire, England, she was listed as the wife of Henry Greathead.³ She died in 1960 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.⁴

     George H Greathead was born on 9 September 1911 in Aston, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.² He was the son of Henry Greathead and Lily Walker. He married Marjorie Edith Harper in 1940 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.³ He died in July 1981 in Warwickshire, England, aged 69.^1,4

     Gladys May Greathead was born on 21 May 1917 in Kingsnorth, Warwickshire, England.^1,2 She was the daughter of Henry Greathead and Lily Walker. She married Sid Fisher in 1944 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.³ She died in March 1995 in Stroud, Gloucestershire, England, aged 77.⁴

She married Harry Biddulph in 1948 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, They later moved to Weston super Mare.⁴ She died in October 2004 in Somerset, England, aged 75 Doreen had been an invalid, she had two hips replaced, shoulder, elbows and knees all needed attention due to arthritis.⁵
