     Ernest Jones was born in 1904.1 He was the son of Ernest Jones and Mary Gilgallon. He married Violet Johnson. He died in 1977.1

     John Greathead was baptized on 12 June 1801 in Whaplode, Lincolnshire, England.1 He was the son of Joseph Greathead and Ann Jackson.1 He married Letitia Bradley on 13 March 1843 in Holbeach, Lincolnshire, England, There is some confusion the IGI seem to say that Letitia's name was Maynard. I need to investigate further, maybe she was married earlier?2,3 John was listed as head of household in the census of 30 March 1851 at Whaplode L Head, Whaplode, Lincolnshire, England, John was a farm labourer.4 John was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 7 April 1861 in Saracent Head, Whaplode, Lincolnshire, England, John was an agricultural labourer and he was living with his wife and grandson Henry Smith aged 15 who was also an agricultural labourer.5 John was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in The Wash Way, Whaplode, Lincolnshire, England, John was still an agricultural labourer.6 He died in 1876 in Holbeach, Lincolnshire, England.7 He was buried on 14 December 1876 in St Mary, Whaplode, Lincolnshire, England.8

     Michael Greathead was born in Zimbabwe, South Africa. He was the son of Harry Greathead and Valerie Hancorn Smith.3 He married Pam .... He died in South Africa.1 Michael was Captain of the Memorial Cricket Club 1 and later became Club Captain. He was a right handed middle order batsman, and a left arm slow bowler. His quote was that it was getting slower every day. His favourite drink was Propel with lots of gin.4

     Penelope Ann Lacey Hicks Smith married Graham Jeremy Greathead, son of Harry Greathead and Valerie Hancorn Smith. She died sometime towards th end of 2006 from lung cancer. Her ex husband Graham had died previously in 1990 in a biking accident.2
