This grand lady attended a party thrown by her pals to celebrate her 100th birthday. She was the president of the Tunstall View Townswomen's Guild and put her long life down to her hectic social life. The event was marked by an article in the Sunderland Echo.3,4

Arthur was a carperter.10 He married Ada Elizabeth Evetts in 1898 in Solihull, Warwickshire, England, It would appear from the index that his wife may not have been in the household.11 Arthur was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in 2 Kingweston Villas, Flora Road, Yardley, Warwickshire, England, Arthur was a joiner.12
Arthur was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in Solihull, Warwickshire, England.13 He died on 27 September 1940 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, aged 69.2,14 There was a large family all however were deceased by 2003.1
