Briton

Built by Harlan & Wolff Limited, Belfast, Northern Ireland, 1897. 10,248 gross tons; 549 (bp) feet long; 60 feet wide. Steam triple expansion engines, twin screw.  Service speed 16 knots.  938 passengers (260 first class, 192 second class, 486 third class).  

Built for Union Line, in 1897 and named Briton. Southampton-Capetown service. Scrapped in 1926.
